Queen of darkness

Hello beautiful people!

Is it Friday yet??

Top: Joyce Leslie(old)
Skirt-Love Culture
Boots: Nordstrom Rack(old)
Hat: Forever21

I wore this outfit on Saturday to go hang out with some friends. I was feeling fierce and what better color to portray that than Black!! I stole this look from a F21 model lol. You can recreate outfits and wear the same exact pieces. What is important is  to give it your own touch. To make it more of a winter fit, I added lace-up boots and my hat. I've been wanting a bowler's hat for a while. I finally found this one for about $12 at F21. Hats are a big trend this winter. It keeps you warm, hides bad hair days, and it adds a staple to the simplest outfits. Lastly, I added a red lip as my pop of color :)

Valentine's day look #2- Pink glittery love

Hello Beautiful people!

     Happy hump day!

Dress: Forever21 (here) also like (herehere)
Shoes: Bakers (old) Similar (hereherehere)
Clutch: Forever21 (old) Similar (here)
Coat: Macys Similar (here)

What's better than a pink and glitter combo? Hmm..... If you ask me I would say NADA. It's like the perfect girly girl combination. I think majority of girls like pink, even if they don't admit it; deep down we all do. I am not a light-color kind of girl, but this pink got me hypnotized. Not to mention the skater cut, we all know how I feel about that. So the minute I saw it, I knew it would be the perfect valentine's day dress. However the material wrinkles very easily. That is why I gave you other options. If you decide to get it, I recommend you send it to the cleaners. But besides that I think this dress is perfect to go out to dinner with your hubby.

Since I wanted to achieve that sweet girl look, I added glitter!! This glitter shoes were a Christmas present from one of my friends like 5 years ago. Yes, they are pretty old, but I can't get rid of them. It's so hard for me to find a pair of gold shoes that I like, and this ones are perfect for me. So until I find another pair I love enough to replace them, they will stay in my closet ;). I found this clutch 2 years after I got the shoes, and they are the perfect match! Thank the God of fashion for that lol.

I know it has been super cold on the East Coast, so to make this look a little warmer you can wear nude stockings and closed pumps. Or you can wait for the summer and use it to attend a wedding, or a bridal's shower; whatever works for you my darlings.

Inspired by her

Hello Beautiful People!

Happy Tuesday fashion bugs!

Coat: Thrift store
Sweater: Flyjane (here)
Jeans: Gift- Similar (here)
Shoes (old)
So today I bring to you an "inspired by her" outfit. I might not be the only one, but I love Kim K's style. I love recreating her outfits, even before I started blogging. This is not an exact recreation, but I will be posting outfits inspire by her and others in the future. She has been rocking all these different oversize boyfriend coats left and right. She has them in different colors, and I want them all lol. On Saturday I was running errands with my mother, and she took me to a thrift store called Goodwill store. People donate all sorts of things to this store, and they sell it at very affordable prices. I've never done thrift shopping before, but I'm so happy I did. I found this awesome, gorgeous, fantastic Jones NY coat for $27.99, the retail price ranges from $200-$300. On the other hand, Kim K's coat (middle pic) is a MaxMara Manuela camel hair coat (here), and it retails for $1,470, YIKES!

I was in the hunt for a jacket like that the minute I saw her wearing it. But every website I went to, it was either sold out, too much money, or not the right color. This was the only piece I purchased from the thrift store, but I am more than satisfied with it. I am now in a new hunt for a pink or peach color one, so if you guys see any, please let me know!.

It was my boyfriend's 26th birthday on Monday. We got together with some friends to watch the Superbowl, and at 12 am we sang happy birthday. I wanna wish him the best of the best, and many more years to come (next to me of course). I love you Monkey

Minty Tribal

Hello Beautiful people!

Cardigan: Xmass present -Similar (herehere)
Jeans: Abercrombie-Similar (here)
Booties: old- also love (here)
Bag-My sister's closet

I can't believe January is over, but I am so happy it is. It means we are one month closer to spring, and this cruel winter will soon be over. I was looking back at my outfits and realized I've been keeping up with one of my resolutions. Which was to integrate more colors into my outfits. I'm a sucker for black!. I just feel ME in that color, if it makes sense. Black is simple yet sexy, elegant, and intense. It's appropriate for all occasions, you can't do no wrong with black. I will forever be team black lol. But I wanted to challenge myself to be more playful and fun with my outfits this year. So far I think I'm doing pretty decent.

This tribal cardigan was a x-mass present from one of my friends. She is like the queen of light colors, total opposite of queen darkness over here. Even though it took me out of my comfort zone, I love it because she picked it without me telling her what I wanted. The people around me seem to think I'm complicated, and never dare to buy stuff without my approval. But I think that's one of my biggest problems, I like everything; therefore I shop a tad too much ;).
