Hello my darlings! I hope you are having a good week. Who's excited for the weekend?
Bottom (dress): boohoo (skirt here)
Clutch: Charming Charlie
I wore this outfit to my sister's 8th grade graduation on Monday. I can't believe she is already in high school. I'm eleven years older than her, and when she was born, I became her second mom. I was changing her diaper the other day, and now she is all grown. I can't get over it, but I'm happy to see how she is blossoming into an intelligent, independent teenager.
As for my outfit, I wanted a sassy, classic look. So what better combo than polka dots and tulle? I am actually wearing two dresses; Yes! you read correctly. I love playing with my clothes, and finding new ways to re-wear them. The perfect tulle skirt can be a little pricey, and this dress provided me with the perfect one. To accomplish the "skirt" I zip the dress up to the waist line, and tucked in the rest. This also gives the "skirt" more volume. The polka dot dress is body-con, so it wasn't a problem to hide. I didn't wear any accessories to keep the look clean. I added a red lip for a color pop.
So smart. Love the way both dresses turned out as one!!! love it!
