Who's Beauty in the shadows

Hello dolls! Welcome to my blog.

I am a simple girl who loves clothes and shoes. Ever since I was in my country (D.R.) I always had a love for fashion. My wish was always to have a big closet with lots of shoes and clothes. I came to the USA when I was 14 years old. I started working at 16, and from then on I started to build up my closet. I love every aspect of being a girl. I think is so much fun, even though is a lot of work too lol. 

I think everybody has an artistic side to them, and we all show it in a different way. We all have a passion and something that makes us feel good when we do it. Well, to me that is dressing up! Some might call it vain, others would say I'm just another shop-aholic, but I call it my art! Is my way of expressing myself, my way of letting out stress.

I am not an expert in fashion, nor do I have any experience as a stylist. I actually don't even go to school for anything that has to do with fashion. That is the reason why I named this blog "beauty in the shadows". I felt like I was hiding. My friends will always ask me for advice on outfits. People would compliment my outfits when I went out, yet I was not putting myself out there, so I decided to just go for it. If by showing what I like to do I can help others, and express myself, then I'm already winning.
